Fluffles Match is a match-3 puzzle game. Fluffy round creatures called fluffles make their homes in a variety of environments in a fantasy world. The player's goal is to collect specific colors and types of fluffles in different landscapes by using match-3 moves. They also try to earn as high a score as possible per level.
The fuffles act like emoji. While their colorful round bodies breathe in and out deeply, they express complex emotions, including boredom, fatigue and fear. Some roll their eyes or make their eyes swirl hypnotically. Common colors of fluffles include light blue, dark blue, orange, pink, purple and yellow.
On each level, the player receives collection goals in the upper-right Targets area. They can also track the level, score and remaining moves along the top of the screen. The game awards a higher score when they perform consecutive matches in a streak. Additionally, it gives them a score advantage at the start of each level. It drops fluffles into place on a board and then rewards them with points for any match-3 lines that form automatically.
Fluffles Match has special item play as well. The player creates fluffles that possess powers. For example, if they align four of these cuddly creatures along a column or row, they create a striped special power fluffle similar to a classic line blast item. They can also make ones that set off blasts in a circle.
